Sycamore Trees - Acer pseudoplatanus

The Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) is a quick maturing tree which will grow to a good height. It is able to withstand salty winds or exposed sites and is commonly used as windbreaks on farms. Sycamores can provide much needed shelter quickly as well as assisting other less hardy species to become established. Well grown trees can produce valuable furniture timber.

The current height of the trees is approximately 30-50cm and they can be planted out all year round.
