Dogwood - Cornus sanguinea

The Red Berried Dogwood (Cornus sanguinea) is a very attractive shrub which grows vigorously, thrives on being coppiced and produces small attractive flowers in the summer and small black berries (inedible) in late summer-autumn.

In winter the leaves fall off to reveal attractive red-orange stems. A useful shrub providing an abundance of year round colour as a screen or specimen. Likes moist soil and grows well in all fertile areas.

The current height of the plants is approximately 15-30cm and they can be planted out all year round.
