Eared Willow Trees - Salix aurita

The Eared Willow (Salix aurita) is a small native willow of northern Britain, growing to no more than 8 feet / 2.5 metres.  A good addition to any pond or wetland area. Often found by rivers, streams and watercourses. The twigs are a dark brown-reddish in colour and it has yellow catkins in spring. This willow is also often used for hedging. Can spread up to 3m.

The current height of the plants is approximately 30-50cm and they can be planted out year round.
