Sea Buckthorn grows to approximately 8ft (2.5m) and produces orange berries which stay on all winter. The berries are used to make lotions, jams, pies, tea, fruit wine and liquor.
The plant suckers and spreads by growing new bushes from outlying roots. In this way it soon stabilises the ground, binding the soil together with its roots and thus forming thickets.
Commonly seen along coastal sandy sites, its natural habitat. Being able to fix nitrogen it is an excellent and valuable coloniser of bare ground - improving the fertility and allowing other plants to follow.
The current height of the plants is approximately 10-20cm and they can be planted out all year round.

Would have preferred an order acknowledgement, but otherwise service was very quick even though the National Postal service is disabled.
Overall good, but with a mixture of plug trees only two had labels on so a little guesswork which hopefully will be right
