Gorse Hedging - Ulex europaeus

One of the best shrubs for growing on un-fertile soil, Gorse (Ulex europaeus) is often found on heaths, cliffs and moorland. An evergreen shrub with spiny thorns so ideal as security or hedging barrier.

Pretty yellow flowers bloom just about all year from early spring through to late autumn. Double yellow flowers have a coconut like scent.

The current height of the plants is approximately 15-30cm and they have a maximum height and spread of approximately 2.5m x 2m.
