Barberry Shrubs - Berberis darwinii

One of the best flowering evergreen shrubs, the Barberry (Berberis darwinii) is both good planted in a garden border or bed as well as an effective security hedge with thorns.

Orange flowers in spring and small purple black berries in the autumn, the Berberis darwinii grows readily in both full sun and partial shade and can grow in exposed locations too. The eventual height and spread of the Berberis darwinii is approximately 3m but it can be clipped back if required.

The current height of our Barberry shrubs is approximately 10-20cm.
